Hey there! I'm Gabi, the board game fanatic behind this blog. Join me as I explore the many games in my collection.
I grew up playing all sorts of different sports and games, so naturally I am quite competitive. Some of the board games I most remember from my childhood are Clue, Monopoly, 1313 Dead End Drive, and Mensch ärger Dich nicht. One day my mom came back with a new board game my brother and I had never heard of before, Grand Austria Hotel, and ever since then I've been hooked and eager to learn about all the new games that are constantly being developed...
In 2015 I moved to away for school and fell out of the hobby for quite a few years. A couple years later I moved abroad to Berlin and had to live minimally. Around 2018 I found my way back and my collection has grown to over 150 games. I attended Essen Spiel for the first time in 2023 and plan to make it a regular occurrence as long as I'm still living in Germany.
